About these terms

These terms are the rules for using Vylix Jobs ('we', 'us'). They apply to everyone who uses the site, including people with an account. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the site.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and why. Read it together with these terms.

What Vylix Jobs is

Vylix Jobs is an unofficial aggregator of internship and entry-level full-time tech job listings. We show listings from many companies in one place. The site is free to use.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company whose listings appear on the site. Company names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Job listings

Internship listings come from companies' public job boards and from job-listing services. Full-time listings come only from companies' public job boards. Each listing is shown for up to about 31 days from its posting date. We don't guarantee that a listing is accurate, complete or still open.

You apply on the employer's own site, and that employer's terms apply there. We are not the employer or a recruiter, we are not part of any hiring decision, and we don't charge job seekers.

Email digest and alerts

The email digest is optional and covers internships only. A subscription starts only after you confirm it from the email we send you. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works straight away. The Privacy Policy explains what we store and how long we keep it.

Account holders can also turn on email alerts, for a saved search or from the filters on a listing page. An alert emails you new listings that match it, daily or weekly, and sends nothing when there are none. An account can have up to ten alerts. An alert made from a listing page uses only some of that page's filters (the alert window shows which it leaves out), so its emails can include listings the page itself would have filtered out. The number of recent matches the window shows is a guide, and we don't promise that every matching listing will be emailed. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link that works straight away, and you can turn alerts off on the Alerts page or in Settings.

Where it is open, you can also ask for one email alert without an account, from the same filters. Enter only an email address you control. The alert starts only after you open the confirmation link we send to that address, and the link expires after 48 hours. Without an account an email address can have one alert; an account can have up to ten. It works as described above, and every one of its emails has an unsubscribe link that works straight away. We may limit how many confirmation emails we send to one address or one network, and we may stop sending to an address that bounces or reports our email as spam. If you later sign in with that same address, the alert can be moved into your account; the Privacy Policy explains how.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. Using the site and applying for jobs don't need one. Accounts may be limited to invited people while we test them.

• You sign in with Google, GitHub, Discord, or a one-time code or link we email you. There are no passwords.
• By creating an account you confirm you are at least 16.
• Account holders can save jobs (we may limit how many an account can save), save search preferences and searches, and turn on email alerts for them.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and removes the account's saved jobs, preferences, saved searches and alerts.
• Sign-in codes and links are personal. Anyone who uses your code or link gets into your account, so don't forward or share them. Keep access to the email address and the Google, GitHub or Discord account you sign in with.
• We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms or is used to abuse the site.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use the site for anything unlawful;
• try to get into other people's accounts or data, or try to break or probe the site's security;
• get around rate limits or the sign-in bot check;
• create accounts automatically or in bulk;
• send automated requests at a volume that disrupts the site;
• use the contact form to send spam or abuse.

Other services

Signing in with Google, GitHub or Discord is also subject to that provider's own terms. Links to employers' and other sites lead to sites we don't control, and their own terms apply there.

No warranty

The site and its features, including accounts, the email digest and email alerts, are provided “as is”, without warranties. They may change, be interrupted or stop. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using the site or relying on a listing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
